Pakistan Police athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the 35th National Games 2025, winning a total of 30 medals, including one gold, two silver and 27 bronze, marking a historic achievement for the force. According to a Punjab Police spokesperson, Punjab Police athlete Abdul Saboor outshone all by winning the gold medal in Wushu Fight, displaying exceptional skill, courage and determination. Another Pakistan Police athlete, Hira Naz, also secured a gold medal with an impressive performance in the Fitness Challenge exhibition match. In addition, the Pakistan Police contingent secured first position in the opening ceremony of the National Games due to its exemplary discipline and impressive turnout, earning wide appreciation from participants and officials. President All Pakistan Police Sports Board and Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr Usman Anwar extended heartfelt congratulations to all victorious athletes, coaches and sports officials on their remarkable achievements. He also praised the role of Patron-in-Chief Wushu Fight Additional IG Investigation Punjab Shahzada Sultan, along with coaches and team management, for their dedicated efforts. IG Punjab said that the Pakistan Police contingent, comprising 550 athletes, demonstrated exemplary performance during the National Games held in Karachi. He added that these historic victories were the result of tireless hard work, dedication and unwavering commitment of the athletes, coaches and patrons. “The entire force takes pride in athletes who bring honour to the department through outstanding performances at national and international levels,” he remarked.
