Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home Achieves Major Success Under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s People-Friendly Police Vision
Punjab Police provided protection to a Sindhi family who had fled from Nawabshah and reunited them with their relatives.

Under the people-friendly police vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, the Punjab Police’s flagship project, Tahaffuz Manzil and Foster Home, has achieved another important success. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing the details, said that Punjab Police provided timely protection to a Sindhi family who had fled from Nawabshah, Sindh, due to domestic violence and mutual disputes, and reunited them with their relatives. The family belonging to Nawabshah, suffering severe difficulties due to domestic discord and violence, reached Lahore, where the Police Protection Center Data Darbar rescued the minor girls and saved them from being left destitute.
The spokesperson for Punjab Police further said that the women who came from Sindh were provided safe shelter at the Punjab Police’s Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home. The Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home team traced the woman’s relatives and husband and arranged effective counseling between the husband and wife. Through the personal efforts of Director Tahaffuz Manzil, Maida Raza, it became possible to eliminate the discord existing between the families, after which the women and children were safely sent back to their homes. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police’s flagship project Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home is providing protection to women who have run away from home, missing children, and affected individuals. He further said that Tahaffuz Manzil Foster Home is playing a key role not only in the care of women and children but also in making them useful citizens through education and training.
