Punjab Police committed to the health and welfare of its force and their families
Additional Rs 2.61 million released for the medical treatment of police employees and their families
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar, remains committed to the health and welfare of the police force and their families. Continuing this commitment, an additional Rs 2.61 million has been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their families. The spokesperson for Punjab Police shared details, stating that ASI Mansoor Ahmad has been given Rs 500,000 for shoulder treatment. Retired Inspector Masood Baig has been granted Rs 300,000 for back treatment. Junior Patrolling Officer Muhammad Mumtaz has received Rs 300,000 for medical treatment. ASI Muhammad Zaman has been granted Rs 250,000 for his wife's cancer treatment, while the wife of martyred Constable Tariq Mehmood has been given Rs 200,000 for eye treatment.
The spokesperson further stated that Retired Assistant Mubashir Ahmad, ASI Ghazanfar Ullah, and ASI Usman Saleem have each been granted Rs 100,000 for medical treatment. Similarly, DSP Razaqar Hussain, Constable Muhammad Ali, and Constable Riyasat Ali have each been provided Rs 100,000. The widow of the late DSP Akhtar Majeed and mason Muhammad Ashraf have also been given Rs 100,000 each for treatment. In addition, Private Secretary Naveed Islam, Retired ASI Zafar Ullah, and Driver Constable Muhammad Mumtaz have collectively been granted Rs 260,000 for medical treatment. IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar approved the release of funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police, through MOUs with various institutions, is providing the best possible medical facilities to employees and their families.
