IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Ensures Best Medical Care for Injured Police Personnel.
An additional amount of 2 million rupees released for the medical expenses of injured personnel from Lahore and other districts.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is committed to ensuring the best treatment and care for police personnel injured in the line of duty. In continuation of this effort, an additional amount of 2 million rupees has been released for the medical expenses of injured personnel from Lahore and various other districts.
Punjab Police spokesperson shared that injured ASI Islam-ul-Haq has been provided 1 million rupees for medical expenses. Injured Constable Bilal Ahmad has been provided 500,000 rupees, while injured ASI Riyasat Ali has been granted 250,000 rupees. Similarly, injured Constable Waheed Shafi has also been provided 250,000 rupees for medical treatment.
The release of funds was approved by the Compensation Award Committee chaired by Additional IG Welfare and Finance, Imran Arshad. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that thousands of police officers and personnel have been injured while protecting the lives and properties of citizens. Ensuring the best treatment and speedy recovery of police heroes is the top priority. He directed supervisory officers to leave no effort undone for the health and welfare of the injured personnel.
