Punjab Police committed to providing homes for the families of its brave martyrs.

Family of Martyred Constable Ajay Ram provided with a house worth PKR 13.5 million.

Through the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the family of the martyr was provided a house in a private housing society in Rahim Yar Khan.

Punjab Police is actively pursuing its mission of providing housing to the families of its martyrs. The family of Constable Ajay Ram, who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty, has been provided a house worth PKR 13.5 million. According to Punjab Police spokesperson, the house was purchased in a private housing society in Rahim Yar Khan in accordance with the preferences of the martyr’s family. Through the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Government of Punjab released funds for providing the house to the martyr’s family. It is worth recalling that Constable Ajay Ram was martyred in 2024 in the Kacha area in a firing incident by robbers. The family of the martyred constable includes his wife and one son. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, while paying tribute to the immortal sacrifice of Constable Ajay Ram, said that the constable embraced martyrdom while performing his duties without regard for his own life. He said that Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifice of its brave son. Dr. Usman Anwar further said that Punjab Police is a custodian force for over 1,700 martyrs like Constable Ajay Ram. The welfare of the families of martyrs remains the foremost priority of Punjab Police.
