The inaugural ceremony of the 12th batch of Punjab Police Internship was held at the Central Police Office. According to details, 45 students from the BS Criminology program at the University of Punjab are part of the 12th batch of the internship. Additional IG Training, Mehboob Aslam Lillah, said that Punjab Police is promoting direct interaction with students in the fields of education and research, and students will gain comprehensive guidance for career development through this internship program. DIG Training, Munir Ahmad Zia, informed the students about the features of the internship program. He explained that the students will be divided into 5 groups and will be attached to various field formations for a duration of 6 weeks. During the internship, the students will be made aware of projects related to field policing, crime control, and public service delivery. They will also receive complete information about various stages of policing in the Information Technology Department, Counter-Terrorism Department, Special Branch, Safe City Authority, and Investigation Wing. During the internship, the students will also present reports based on their observations.
