IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Ensures Full Medical Support for Officers Injured in the Line of Duty

Another 1.9 Million Rupees Released to Cover Medical Expenses for Injured Personnel Across Lahore and Other Districts

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, remains fully committed to ensuring the best possible medical treatment for police personnel injured in the line of duty. In line with this dedication, an additional 1.9 million rupees have been released to cover the medical expenses of injured officers from Lahore and various districts.  According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the funds will be allocated as follows: ASI Saleem Akhtar, who sustained injuries, will receive 1 million rupees for medical treatment, while Head Constable Liaqat Ali will be provided with 400,000 rupees. ASI Amanat Ali will receive 250,000 rupees, Constable Muhammad Yaseen 200,000 rupees, and Constable Asmat Saeed 50,000 rupees for their medical care.The release of these funds was approved by the Compensation Award Committee, chaired by Additional IG Welfare & Finance, Imran Arshad. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, reiterated that countless police officers have been injured while safeguarding the lives and properties of citizens. He emphasized that the well-being, timely recovery, and treatment of these gallant officers remain a top priority. IG also instructed supervisory officers to ensure every effort is made to support the health and welfare of injured personnel.
