Director General Pakistan Police Sports Board Additional IG Imran Arshad chaired an important meeting at Central Police Office, Arrangements Reviewed
A Grand Contingent of 573 Punjab Police Athletes Prepared to Participate in the 35th National Games 2025
Preparations for the 35th National Games 2025, being organized under the auspices of the Pakistan Olympic Association, are underway with great zeal. In this regard, an important meeting was held at the Central Police Office, Lahore, under the chairmanship of Director General Pakistan Police Sports Board Additional IG Imran Arshad, where detailed arrangements for the police teams participating in the National Games were reviewed. Chief Sports Officer RPO Sheikhupura Athar Ismail Amjad, SP Headquarters Lahore Munazza Karamat, coaches, and concerned officers attended the meeting. All matters related to the security, training camp, lodging and boarding, welfare, and medical facilities for the police contingent were reviewed during the meeting.
DG Police Sports Board Additional IG Imran Arshad stated that the Punjab Police contingent, comprising 573 athletes, will participate in 32 different sports in the National Games. He directed the concerned officials to ensure the best arrangements for the discipline, code of conduct, travel, boarding, lodging, food, and provision of medical facilities for the athletes. He further added that on the special instructions of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, all resources are being provided to the police athletes for the improvement of sports. Chief Sports Officer RPO Sheikhupura Athar Ismail Amjad said that the Punjab Police athletes are determined and will perform better this year compared to the last year.
