Boiler Explosion in Chemical Factory in Faisalabad; Police and Rescue Teams Conducted Extensive Relief Operations
On the directions of IG Punjab, police officers and personnel immediately took part in the rescue activities; trapped individuals were pulled out from under the debris.
A tragic boiler explosion occurred in a chemical factory located in the Mansoorabad Police Station area of Faisalabad. Following the directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, senior police officers along with a large contingent reached the scene immediately. The police force, in coordination with rescue agencies, participated in the rescue operation. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that Rescue 1122, the Fire Brigade, and all other relevant agencies be fully assisted in relief operations. He stated that police officers and personnel should continue working with rescue teams to retrieve individuals trapped under the debris. IG Punjab further instructed that the traffic police ensure uninterrupted access for rescue teams, ambulances, and other emergency agencies to the incident site so that relief activities are not hindered. The spokesperson for Punjab Police stated that, on the special instructions of IG Punjab, police teams actively took part in the rescue operation.
