Punjab Police Committed to the Health Welfare of Its Force and Their Families
Additional Funds of PKR 2,275,000 Released for Medical Treatment of Police Employees and Their Families.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is giving special attention to the health welfare of his force and their families. Under this initiative, additional funds of PKR 2,275,000 have been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their families. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing details said that Traffic Warden Fakhar Mehmood Arshad was provided PKR 1,000,000 for kidney transplant treatment. Similarly, Security Constable Umar Ramzan was given PKR 400,000 for the treatment of a brain tumor, and Constable Muhammad Raheel received PKR 250,000 for cancer treatment.
Furthermore, Constables Naeem Anjum, Kazim Ali Shah, and Security Constable Mehmood Ali were provided PKR 100,000 each for their medical treatment. Junior Patrolling Officer Taimoor Khan, Head Constable Qasim Nawaz, Constable Sajid Sultan, and Tailor Master Rafiq Masih were collectively provided PKR 325,000 for medical treatment. Punjab Police spokesperson further added that IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar approved the release of funds following the scrutiny of the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar said that under MOUs with various institutions, police employees are also being provided with the best possible medical facilities.
