Punjab Police Committed to the Health Welfare of its Force and Their Families.
An additional PKR 2,850,000 in funds released for the medical treatment of police employees and their families.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is committed to the health welfare of his force and their families, and in continuation of this commitment, an additional PKR 2,850,000 in funds has been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their family members. Punjab Police Spokesperson while sharing the information, said that Sub-Inspector Muhammad Razzaq was provided PKR 500,000 for hip bone surgery and Constable Anwar-ul-Hassan was given PKR 400,000 for medical treatment. Driver Constable Tanveer Hussain was issued PKR 250,000 for cancer treatment and Head Constable Muhammad Nazir was also issued PKR 200,000 for cancer treatment. Furthermore, DSP Aamir Khan was provided PKR 200,000 for kidney treatment. ASI Yasir Touseef, ASI Tahir Nadeem, Constable Muhammad Naeem, Constable Muhammad Ejaz, Usama Ali, Tariq Mahmood, Sada Gulab, Security Constable Ghulam Hussain, Under Officer Atif Shahzad, and a retired Traffic Warden were also provided PKR 100,000 each for medical treatment.
Punjab Police Spokesperson further said that Khansama (Cook) Muhammad Munir, Constable Khawar Iqbal, and the wife of Shaheed (Martyred) Constable Aamir Alam were collectively issued PKR 300,000 for medical treatment. The Spokesperson further said that IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar approved the release of funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar said that they are also providing the best medical facilities to their employees under MOUs (Memorandums of Understanding) with various institutions.
