IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is determined to ensure the best medical treatment for Ghazi officers injured in the line of duty.

An additional 2.55 million rupees has been released for the medical expenses of injured officers from Lahore and other districts.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is determined to ensure the best medical treatment for Ghazi officers injured in the line of duty, and in continuation of these efforts, an additional amount of 2.55 million rupees has been released for the payment of medical expenses to injured officers from Lahore and other districts. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing details, said that injured Constable Muhammad Ali has been provided 1 million rupees for medical expenses, injured Constable Muhammad Bilal 500,000 rupees, injured Sub-Inspector Muhammad Zawar 300,000 rupees, injured Constable Muhammad Abbas 250,000 rupees, injured ASI Raees Ahmad 200,000 rupees, injured ASI Muhammad Hassan 200,000 rupees, while injured ASI Muhammad Latif has been provided 100,000 rupees for medical expenses.

Under the chairmanship of Additional IG Welfare and Finance Imran Arshad, the Compensation Award Committee formally approved the release of the funds. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that thousands of police officers and personnel have been injured while protecting the lives and properties of citizens. Providing the best medical treatment and ensuring the earliest possible rehabilitation of police Ghazis is a top priority. He directed supervisory officers to leave no effort undone for the health welfare of Ghazi officers.
