IG Punjab Congratulates Officers on Success, Acknowledges Parents’ Commitment and Dedication
Dr. Usman Anwar Advises Young Officers to UtilizeTheir Abilities in Service of the Nation
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, was called on at the Central Police Office by PMS examination qualifiers Badruddin Sheharyar and Samiuddin Shahroz. Both young officers are sons of the Acting DPO Layyah, Shamsuddin. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated both of them on their remarkable success in the PMS examination. IG Punjab paid tribute to Shamsuddin for ensuring quality and high-standard education for his children through hard work, dedication, and tireless effort. Dr. Usman Anwar said that young officers should understand professional workings in a better way and make public service their hallmark through new ideas. He instructed them to use their authority, abilities, and energy for the service, development, and progress of the nation and the country. IG Punjab further said that such talented youth are a beacon of light for the children of other Punjab Police employees, and their achievements are a matter of pride for the department. Punjab Police spokesperson said that Badruddin Sheharyar secured 50th position in PMS while Samiuddin Shahroz secured 59th position, after which they joined the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD). Badruddin Sheharyar holds a BBA degree, while Samiuddin Shahroz has completed his Master’s degree in International Relations.
