Rank Pinning Ceremony Held at Central Police Office for Newly promoted Inspectors through Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC)
Following directives from IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, a ceremony to confer Inspector ranks on promoted officers took place at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar conferred the rank of Inspector to 38 officers who had succeeded in the Punjab Public Service Commission examination. A large number of parents, children, and family members of the promoted officers attended the ceremony. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that this year, seven promotion boards were held for promotion from Sub-Inspector to Inspector, through which 1,047 officers were promoted. In the past two and three-quarter years, a total of 3,456 officers were promoted to the rank of Inspector through 27 promotion boards. IG Punjab instructed the officers to fulfill the rights of their promotions through exemplary conduct with citizens and petitioners, effective delivery of justice, and public service. He said that SHOs should make the environment of police stations exemplary, just like the Police Khidmat Mrakaz, in terms of courtesy and service to citizens. The ceremony was attended by Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, DIG Establishment-I Suleman Sultan Rana, DIG Establishment-II Captain (R) Liaquat Ali Malik, AIG Discipline, SP Dolphin, and ASPs.
