Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, met with Aswa Khalid Mahmood, who successfully passed the PMS examination. Aswa Khalid is the daughter of Assistant Khalid Mahmood, who is posted at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated Aswa Khalid on her success in the PMS examination. IG Punjab said that Assistant Khalid Mahmood and his wife worked tirelessly to ensure their daughter’s quality education and upbringing despite difficult circumstances. Dr. Usman Anwar paid tribute to Khalid Mahmood for his hard work and dedication in ensuring his daughter’s higher education. IG Punjab advised Aswa Khalid to utilize her professional capabilities to serve the citizens wholeheartedly and to use her powers and abilities for the progress and development of the nation and the country.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, Aswa Khalid secured 29th position in the Provincial Management Service (PMS) examination and joined the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD). Prior to this, she had served as Assistant Director in the Local Fund and Audit Department through PMS. Aswa Khalid holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, while her father, Assistant Khalid Mahmood, is currently serving as Assistant Director, Personnel Branch, Central Police Office.
