Punjab Police committed to providing residential homes to families of its brave martyrs

Family of martyred Constable Muhammad Khalil given a house worth Rs. 13.5 million۔ House provided to the martyr’s family in Pakpattan through special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar

Punjab Police remains committed to its mission of providing housing to the families of its martyrs. The family of Constable Muhammad Khalil, who laid down his life in the line of duty, has been given a house worth Rs. 13.5 million. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing details, said that the house was purchased for the martyr’s family in a private housing scheme in Pakpattan according to their preference. Through the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Government of Punjab released funds for the provision of the house to the martyr’s family. It is worth mentioning that Constable Muhammad Khalil embraced martyrdom in 2024 during an encounter with criminals. The martyr is survived by his wife, a son, and a daughter.
 
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid rich tribute to the supreme sacrifice of Constable Muhammad Khalil, stating that he embraced martyrdom while protecting the lives and properties of citizens without regard for his own safety. He added that Punjab Police will never forget the immortal sacrifice of its brave son. Dr. Usman Anwar said that Punjab Police is the custodian of the legacy of more than 1,700 martyrs like Constable Muhammad Khalil. The welfare of the families of martyrs remains the top priority of Punjab Police.
