IG Punjab Expresses Gratitude to Retired Officers for Their Valuable Services to the Police Department

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, met with 11 retired DSPs at the Central Police Office, Lahore. IG Punjab expressed gratitude to the retired officers for rendering valuable services to the Police Department. According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the retired DSPs who called on the IG included Nasir Waheed, Muhammad Ashraf, Zulfiqar Ali, Muhammad Idrees, Tariq Asif Ranjha, Muhammad Asif, Zafar Iqbal, Muhammad Asif, Aamir Hussain, Muhammad Nawaz, and Abdul Majeed. IG Punjab said that the dedication and services of retired police officers to the department are commendable. The department is taking all possible measures to ensure the timely resolution of pension, GP fund, and other related issues of retired personnel.

Dr. Usman Anwar said that the extensive experience of retired police officers in the fields of law and order control, investigation, and training should serve as a source of guidance for the force. He further said that their experiences and suggestions will also be utilized in efforts to curb terrorism and extremism. The retired officers thanked IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar for the honor and recognition extended to them by the Police Department. On this occasion, Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, DIG Establishment-I Suleman Sultan Rana, DIG Headquarters Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan, DIG Establishment-II Capt. (R) Liaqat Ali Malik, and DIG Operations Punjab Muhammad Ali Naikokara, along with other senior officers, were also present.
