IG Punjab Addresses Employees’ Concerns and Orders Immediate Relief

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, met with police employees and their family members at the Central Police Office, Lahore. IG Punjab listened their issues and directed the concerned officers to ensure their prompt resolution. According to details, upon receiving a request for financial assistance from Sub-Inspector Riyasat Ali, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar instructed the Additional IG Welfare and Finance to provide relief. On Head Constable Falak Sher’s request for transfer and posting, the DIG Establishment-II was directed to grant relief. For the renewal of contracts of three Data Processing Officers, IG Punjab instructed the DIG Establishment-I to take necessary action. On Lady Junior Clerk Asaj Liaqat’s request for official residence, the AIG Development was directed to provide relief. Similarly, on the request of the wife of martyred Head Constable Liaqat Ali for allotment of a plot, the Additional IG Welfare and Finance was instructed to provide relief. For Inspector Muhammad Tahir’s request for cancellation of transfer, IG Punjab directed the Additional IG Punjab to take appropriate action. Moreover, on the request regarding the promotion of 16 Inspectors (Legal), the DIG Establishment-I and Registrar were directed to take necessary steps to provide relief. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar also issued immediate orders on other applications related to discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare matters.
