IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Commends Rajanpur Police for Outstanding Performance.
Punjab Police Rajanpur conducted a successful operation against dacoits in the Sonmiani Kacha area, safely rescuing a kidnapped citizen. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, a large police contingent raided the hideout of the criminals in the Kacha area, during which the kidnapped citizen, Gul Ganoor, was safely recovered from their captivity. Punjab Police spokesperson further said that the victim had been abducted a few days earlier from the Kacha Bangla Acha area, and the dacoits were demanding a hefty ransom for his release. Additionally, the dacoits had also circulated a video on social media showing violence against the victim. During the operation, there was intense exchange of fire between the Rajanpur Police and the dacoits. Due to the pressure from the police, the dacoits fled from their hideout, while the pursuit of the criminals is ongoing. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar appreciated the outstanding performance of the Rajanpur Police in safely rescuing the kidnapped citizen and commended the police team for their efforts.
