IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Honors 08 Lahore Police Officers and Personnel with Commendation Certificates and Cash Awards
On the directives of Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, a special ceremony was held at the Central Police Office Punjab Lahore, in which Lahore Police officers and personnel were awarded cash prizes and commendation certificates for the arrest of criminals involved in heinous crimes and for outstanding investigation of cases. According to Punjab Police spokesperson, during the ceremony, 08 officers and personnel from 03 Lahore Police teams were awarded commendation certificates and cash awards for their exceptional performance. Inspector Hasnain Saleem Khan and his team were awarded cash prizes and commendation certificates for tracing cases of blind murders and thefts. Similarly, Inspector Muhammad Tanveer and his team were encouraged with cash awards and commendation certificates for the arrest of blind murder suspects.
Furthermore, ASI Sagheer Ahmed, who received appreciation from the Supreme Court of Pakistan for the excellent investigation of a case, was specially awarded a cash prize and commendation letter by IG Punjab. The ceremony was also attended by Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry, DIG Headquarters Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan, AIG Discipline Tahir Rehman, and other senior officers. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the officers and personnel receiving awards for their outstanding performance. IG Punjab said that strict action against criminals and fair investigation of cases enhances the prestige of the police and strengthens public trust. Among the award recipients were 02 Inspectors, 02 Sub-Inspectors, 02 ASIs, 01 Head Constable, and 01 Constable.
