Punjab Police Honors Its Martyrs by Providing Homes to Their Families.

Family of Shaheed Traffic Assistant Rashid Nazir Given House Worth 13.5 Million Rupees

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s Special Efforts Result in Provision of House for Martyr’s Family in Haroonabad.

Punjab Police remains committed to supporting the families of its martyrs by providing them with shelter. As part of this initiative, the family of Shaheed Traffic Assistant Rashid Nazir has been given a house worth 13.5 million rupees. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the house was purchased in the Haroonabad area of Bahawalnagar, in line with the martyr’s family’s preferences. On the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Government released funds for the martyr’s family’s house. It is important to note that Shaheed Traffic Assistant Rashid Nazir embraced martyrdom in a traffic accident during his duty in 2024. The martyr’s family includes his wife, one son, and three daughters. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, while paying tribute to the immortal sacrifice of Shaheed Rashid Nazir, said that Traffic Assistant Rashid Nazir laid down his life while fulfilling his duties, without caring for his own safety. He further said that Punjab Police is the custodian of over 1,700 martyrs like Traffic Assistant Rashid Nazir. The welfare of martyrs’ families is among the top priority of Punjab Police.
