Punjab Police Holds Closing Ceremony of 11th Internship Program Batch
Students of Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, and Forensic Biology Receive Certificates

Punjab Police held the closing ceremony of the 11th batch of its Internship Program at the Central Police Office, Lahore. The program featured 24 participants from Lahore Garrison University and Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Jamshoro, Sindh. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing the details, said that students belonging to the fields of Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, and Forensic Biology were divided into five groups for the internship. They were attached to various branches of Punjab Police for six weeks, including the Special Branch, CTD, Safe Cities Authority, Investigation Branch, and IT Branch. During the closing ceremony, the students presented their presentation reports based on the experiences gained during the internship. On this occasion, DIG Training Munir Ahmad Zia Rao distributed certificates among the students. DIG Training Munir Ahmad Zia Rao, in his address, said that the practical experience gained during the internship will prove helpful in the career development of the students. He said that Punjab Police is providing vast internship opportunities to students to promote a culture of education and research so that the young generation can closely observe and learn about police working and field challenges. According to the interns, the program allowed them to experience working in multiple Punjab Police departments, understand police procedures firsthand, and learn from real-world field challenges. They thanked the IG Punjab for making this learning opportunity possible. The ceremony was also attended by Lahore Garrison University’s Associate Dean Kokab Jamal Zubairi, Kausar Parveen from the Department of Criminology, and Sheroz Malik from the Department of Digital Forensics.
