IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Determined for the Welfare of Special Children of Police Employees
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar continues to take practical measures for the welfare and rehabilitation of the special children of police employees. In continuation of these efforts, funds amounting to Rs. 3.75 million have been released for the (Cerebral Palsy / mentally challenged) children of police employees. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, 125 special children of police employees have been provided with Rs. 30,000 each. For the welfare of police employees’ children suffering from Cerebral Palsy, a monthly assistance of Rs. 10,000 per child is being provided. During the current year, a total of Rs. 7 crore 24 lakh and 60 thousand has been disbursed to these special children. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the best possible measures are being taken for the medical treatment and rehabilitation of the special children of police employees. He further said that the welfare process is being expanded to make the lives of these special children easier, dignified, and better.
