Promotions Continue in Punjab Police: 38 Sub-Inspectors Promoted to the Rank of Inspector

Notification issued for officers who qualified through the Punjab Public Service Commission examination

The process of promotions in Punjab Police is continued. Thirty-eight Sub-Inspectors who successfully passed the competitive examination conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission have been promoted to the rank of Inspector, and a formal notification has been issued. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, under the High Potential Development Scheme (HPDS), 38 Sub-Inspectors from various districts, including Lahore, have been promoted to the rank of Inspector. The spokesperson further informed that a case for an additional 100 positions for promotion to the rank of Inspector is also being sent to the Punjab Public Service Commission.

The officers promoted to the rank of Inspector included, Yasir Bashir and Syed Muhammad Qamar from Lahore, Abid Hussain, Saleem Hassan, Muhammad Akhtar Khan, Muhammad Imran, Abdul Basit and Syed Nadeem Abbas from Muzaffargarh, Rana Muhammad Tahir, Shams Ullah, Shafiq ur Rehman, Naveed Yaseen and Muhammad Sami Ullah from Dera Ghazi Khan, Farrukh Tahseen, Naeem ILam ud Din, Fazal Abbas and Sabtain Raza from Jhang, Rizwan Shaukat, Muhammad Tahir Anwar and Talish Abbas from Faisalabad, Zahid Zulfiqar, Muhammad Zaid Anjum and Akbar Ali from Sahiwal, Muhammad Ishaq Jan, Zafar Khan, and Muhammad Safdar from Rajanpur, Syed Muhammad Iqrar Abbas Sherazi and Mazhar Iqbal from Sargodha, Riaz Hussain and Ghulam Asghar Kashif from Layyah, Muhammad Javed Iqbal and Ansar Ali from Nankana Sahib, Syed Bilal Naeem from Gujrat, Bilal Saleem from Sialkot, Rauf Ismail from Okara, Saeed ur Rehman from Khanewal, Iftikhar Hussain Dogar from Vehari And Muhammad Imran from Khushab. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated all officers promoted to the rank of Inspector and extended his best wishes for their future success. He directed the officers to continue serving the people of Pakistan selflessly and protecting the nation fearlessly.
