IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar determined for the best welfare of police employees’ special children.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar continues to take practical measures for the welfare and rehabilitation of the special children of police employees. In continuation of these efforts, funds amounting to Rs. 3.15 million have been released for the children of police employees suffering from Cerebral Palsy / mentally challenged conditions. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing the details, said that 105 special children of police employees have been provided Rs. 30,000 each. For the welfare of children suffering from Cerebral Palsy, a monthly stipend of Rs. 10,000 per child is being provided, while during the current year, a total amount of Rs. 62.35 million has been disbursed to these special children. IG Punjab said that all available resources are being utilized for the treatment, care, rehabilitation, and better future of the special children of police employees. He further said that the welfare process is being further expanded to make the lives of police employees’ special children easier, dignified, and better.
