Punjab Police is firmly committed for the health welfare of its force and their families
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is committed to the health welfare of his force and their families. In continuation of this commitment, additional funds amounting to 2.351 million rupees have been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their family members. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing the details, said that Retired Sub-Inspector Saleem Khan has been given 500,000 rupees for cancer treatment. Corporal Ghulam Akbar (for cancer), Constable Ikram Ullah (for gallbladder treatment), and Constable Ghulam Akbar (for brain tumor treatment) have each been given 250,000 rupees in funds. Similarly, Constable Muhammad Aslam has been given 200,000 rupees for lung treatment, and Constable Atiq-ur-Rehman has been granted 150,000 rupees for appendix treatment.
Head Constable Sher Baz Ali and Constable Arman Zia have each been provided 100,000 rupees for medical treatment. Furthermore, ASI Muhammad Saleem, Driver Constable Kashif Shahzad, and Retired Constable Muhammad Boota have also been given 100,000 rupees each for medical treatment. According to the spokesperson, the wife of retired martyred ASI Nisar Ahmad, Constable Nazakat Ali, and Driver Constable Mansoor Ahmad have been provided a total amount of 251,000 rupees for medical treatment. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar approved the release of funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IG Punjab said that Punjab Police is providing the best medical facilities to its employees under MOUs with various institutions.
