Under-Training DSPs from National Police Academy Visited Central Police Office

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized on Modern Policing, Technology, and Behavioral Improvement. Briefing Given to Under-Training Officers on Investigation, Crime Control, and Field Management Affairs۔

Under-training DSPs from the Second Specialized Training Course of the National Police Academy visited the Central Police Office Lahore. Among those gaining experience of Punjab’s policing affairs were 43 under-training officers, including 9 women. Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, during his meeting with the under-training officers, highlighted the importance of enhancing capacity, adopting modern policing practices, and promoting positive attitudes. He said that by aligning with artificial intelligence and modern technology, effective measures should be ensured for crime control and public service delivery. IG Punjab said that field experience, office management, administration, and strong coordination with the public are essential components of modern policing.

Additional IG Investigation Punjab Shahzada Sultan and AIG Operations Punjab Zahid Nawaz Marwat gave a detailed briefing to the DSPs on Punjab Police’s investigation, operations, and crime control affairs. Punjab Police spokesperson said that during training, the under-training officers acquired knowledge and practical skills covering all aspects of urban and rural policing. On this occasion, the DSPs presented presentations based on their training experiences and asked various questions from the IG Punjab. AIG Development Dr. Rizwan Ahmad Khan and AIG Complaints Ehsan Ullah Chauhan were also present on the occasion.
