Honoring the Sacrifice: Punjab Police Continues to Provide homes to families of Its brave martyrs.

Practical Fulfillment of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Vision “Apna Ghar, Apni Chhat”

Family of another Martyred Constable Provided Home Worth Rs. 13.5 Million.

Under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif “Apna Ghar, Apni Chhat for Every Citizen” Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar continues the mission of providing houses to the families of police martyrs. According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the family of Constable Zahid Hassan, who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty, has been provided with a new house worth Rs. 13.5 million. The house, purchased in Sakhi Sarwar Colony, Rahim Yar Khan, was given to the family in accordance with their preference. Through the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Government of Punjab released funds for the house of the martyr’s family. It may be recalled that Constable Zahid Hassan embraced martyrdom as a result of firing by criminal elements in the Kacha area. The family of the martyr includes his wife. Paying tribute to the supreme sacrifice of the martyr, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Constable Zahid Hassan embraced martyrdom while performing his duty without caring for his own life. Punjab Police will never forget the immortal sacrifice of its brave son. Dr. Usman Anwar further said that Punjab Police is the custodian of more than 1,700 martyrs like Constable Zahid Hassan, and the force takes pride in the sacrifices of its courageous sons.
