IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Committed to the Welfare of Police Personnel and Their Families.
Over Rs. 2.2 Million released for medical welfare of police employees and their families.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has reaffirmed his commitment to the health and welfare of police personnel and their families. Continuing these efforts, more than Rs. 2.2 million have been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their dependents. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, Rs. 1 million were released for the kidney treatment of Constable Muhammad Akbar. The widow of late Constable Mukhtar Ali was granted Rs. 200,000 for liver treatment. Constables Muhammad Irshad, Umar Farooq, and Driver Constable Sabar Ali were each provided Rs. 100,000 for medical assistance. Sub-Inspector Wasif Munir and ASI Muhammad Asif Khan also received Rs. 100,000 each. Additionally, Security Constable Muhammad Bakhtiar Ahmad and Senior Security Constable Aftab Ahmed were granted Rs. 100,000 each for treatment. Traffic Wardens Kashif Imran and Aqeel Ahmed, Sub-Inspector Zulfiqar Ali, and the widow of Shaheed Constable Ansar Iqbal were provided a total of Rs. 305,000 in financial aid. IG Punjab approved the disbursement of funds following scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that Punjab Police is also providing quality medical facilities to its employees through MOUs signed with various institutions.
