Punjab Police Continue Search, Sweep, and Combing Operations Across the Province

Punjab Police teams are continuing search, sweep, and combing operations across the province, including Lahore. As part of these ongoing measures, during the past 24 hours, 478 combing operations were carried out, over 14,186 suspects were checked, and 53 suspects were taken into custody. Punjab Police spokesperson further shared that 31 search and sweep operations were conducted, questioning over 3,720 individuals, and arrested 02 suspects. In addition, 638 proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes, 134 court absconders, and 82 habitual criminals were arrested. A large cache of illegal weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the possession of criminals and suspects. During actions against criminal elements, 10 offenders were neutralized while 5 were arrested in injured condition. Inspector General of Punjab Police directed that search, sweep, and combing operations must continue to hold anti-state and criminal elements accountable.
