Another 22,75,000 rupees released for the treatment of police employees and their families. Punjab Police Spokesperson.
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to the health welfare of his force and their families. In this regard, additional funds of Rs. 22,75,000 have been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their families. Punjab Police spokesperson provided details, that an amount of Rs. 4,00,000 has been provided for the medical treatment of the widow of the late Langri Bakhtawar Ali. Constable Faraz Hussain and Constable Liaquat Ali have been given Rs. 2,50,000 each for the treatment of cancer and other ailments. Constable Alamdar Hussain and Driver Constable Nasir Iqbal have been granted Rs. 2,00,000 each for the treatment of heart-related conditions. The widow of the late Sub-Inspector Mukhtar Hussain, Constable Muhammad Aslam, and Muhammad Asif have been provided Rs. 1,00,000 each for their medical treatment.
For the treatment of retired Sub-Inspector Riaz Ahmad, Constable Muhammad Iqbal, and Muhammad Aslam, a total of Rs. 2,75,000 has been released. Retired Sub-Inspector Naeem Ullah, ASI Muhammad Ilyas, and Constable Shahid Ali have been provided a total of Rs. 1,75,000. Senior Clerk Muhammad Tasawar, Head Constable Asif Ali, and Constable Khalil Adnan have been granted a total of Rs. 2,25,000 for their medical treatment.
According to the spokesperson of the Punjab Police, these funds have been released in phases after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IG Punjab said that the health and welfare of Punjab Police officers and personnel are a top priority. Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) have also been signed with various institutions to ensure the provision of quality healthcare facilities to police employees and their families.
