Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is committed to the health welfare of his force and their families. Continuing this initiative, an additional Rs. 2.45 million has been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their family members. Sharing the details, the Punjab Police spokesperson said that Driver Constable Sajjad Hussain has been granted Rs. 1.5 million for the treatment of heart ailment. Inspector Habib ur Rehman has been granted Rs. 250,000 for his wife’s cancer treatment. ASI Muhammad Zafar has been given Rs. 250,000 for treatment of a neurological disease, and Rs. 250,000 each has been provided for the treatment of the son of Shaheed Sub-Inspector Sultan Ali. Constable Muhammad Farooq has been granted Rs. 200,000 for kidney treatment. IG Punjab approved the release of funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar said that employees are also being provided with the best treatment facilities through MOUs with various institutions.
