Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is firmly committed to the health welfare of his force and their families, under which an additional Rs. 2.43 million has been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their families. Sharing details, the Punjab Police spokesperson said that Constable Tariq Javed has been given Rs. 500,000 for surgery. Supervisor Technical Muhammad Ishaq and Sub-Inspector Sohail Ghafoor have each been provided Rs. 250,000 for the medical treatment of their wives. Assistant Muhammad Arshad, Sanitary Worker Rashid Javed, and the widow of late DSP Saifullah have each been provided Rs. 200,000 for kidney treatment. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Sharif, Driver Constables Muhammad Asif and Ishrat Ali, and Sanitary Worker Parvez Masih have each been granted Rs. 100,000 for medical treatment. Head Constable Habib Ullah, Constable Amir Bashir, and JPO Adnan Shahzad have collectively been provided Rs. 265,000 for medical treatment. ASI Shabbir Ahmad, Constable Rashid Mehmood, and Sanitary Worker Ghulam Hussain have collectively been given Rs. 165,000 for medical treatment. IG Punjab approved the release of these funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar said that under MOUs with various institutions, police employees are also being provided with the best healthcare facilities.
