Fast Track Promotion Process Continues in Punjab Police

62 Officers Promoted to Inspector Rank in Rawalpindi Division; Rank Pinning Ceremony Held at Central Police Office.

On the directions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, a rank conferment ceremony was held at the Central Police Office for 62 officers promoted to the rank of Inspector. Punjab Police spokesperson said that IG Punjab conferred the rank of Inspector to the promoted officers of Rawalpindi Division. Parents, children, and families of the promoted officers participated in large numbers in the ceremony. IG Punjab congratulated the promoted Inspectors and their families. IG Punjab said that Punjab Police will improve traffic management by adopting infrared and ultrasonic sensor technology modeled after Japan. Promotions will be granted on 645 seats for Inspectors and Senior Traffic Wardens. This year, 4,000 Inspectors will be promoted, breaking last year’s own record. The performance of Rawalpindi Police in law and order, crime control, and public service delivery is excellent. The accountability process in Punjab Police is far more stringent than in any other department. The service structure of employees of all cadres has been rectified, and a promotion calendar has been created. There is zero tolerance for corruption and misconduct. IG Punjab directed officers to serve citizens with the best conduct. In response to promotions and welfare, they should serve citizens selflessly and ensure fearless protection. Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, DIG Establishment I Suleman Sultan Rana, DIG Establishment II Liaqat Ali Malik, DIG Operations Lahore Muhammad Faisal Kamran, SSP MT Anoosh Masood Chaudhry, AIGs, SPs, SDPOs, and senior officers were present at the occasion.
