IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Chaired Meeting of Reserve Inspectors (RIs) from Across Punjab; Overall Performance Reviewed.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar chaired a meeting at the Central Police Office to review the overall performance of Reserve Inspectors (RIs) from across Punjab. IG Punjab said that transforming all police lines across the province, including Lahore, safe and beautiful is a top priority. The capacity of personnel in police lines is being enhanced, and infrastructure and logistics are being upgraded. Police stations and police lines in the province, including Lahore and Faisalabad, are being air-conditioned.

IG Punjab emphasized that in law and order situations, the alert personnel of police lines play a key role in immediate response. IG Punjab directed to improve the security, cleanliness, mess, and Kot system of police lines. DPOs will inspect police lines and submit reports, while the CPO Office will also conduct separate inspections of police lines. A plantation campaign should be launched to beautify the environment of police lines across the province. There will be no compromise on the quality of food in police lines’ mess. The Kot, weapons, and records in police lines must be kept in proper condition. The meeting was attended by Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, DIG Establishment-I Suleman Sultan Rana, DIG Establishment-II Captain (R) Liaqat Ali Malik, AIG Admin Asad Ijaz Malhi, AIG Inspection Shaista Nadeem, and other officers.
