Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar has issued orders for cash rewards and commendation certificates to encourage officers and personnel who demonstrated outstanding performance against anti-state and criminal elements. Sharing details, the Punjab Police Spokesperson said that the IG Punjab has ordered the distribution of cash rewards worth Rs. 2.575 million and commendation certificates for 68 officers and personnel. Officers and personnel were awarded cash prizes ranging from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000 along with commendation certificates. Among the recipients of rewards are 15 Inspectors, 9 Sub-Inspectors, 11 ASIs, 15 Head Constables, and 18 Constables. IG Punjab said that the officers and personnel performed their duties in an excellent manner for the maintenance of law and order and the protection of citizens’ lives and property. Officers and personnel imbued with the spirit of public service, dedication, and courage are the true asset of Punjab Police.
