Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz continously Engaged in Providing Digital Services to Citizens
So far this year, more than 2.322 million citizens have availed policing services from Khidmat Marakaz
On the instructions of Inspector General of Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz are actively engaged in providing digital services to citizens. In continuation of these efforts, so far this year, more than 2.322 million citizens have availed policing services from Khidmat Marakaz. Punjab Police spokesperson, while sharing details, said that more than 1.04 million citizens obtained general police verifications, while over 563,000 citizens acquired police character certificates. Similarly, more than 257,000 citizens registered tenancy information, and over 111,000 citizens obtained medico-legal certificates.
Punjab Police spokesperson further shared that under the ongoing initiatives for vulnerable segments, legal and social protection was provided to more than 88,935 individuals. A total of 29,358 citizens availed vehicle verifications. Moreover, more than 59,000 citizens registered the loss of documents, while 3,144 crime reports were registered. Around 125,000 citizens obtained copies of FIRs, and 57 women violence reports were registered. Likewise, 41,403 citizens carried out employee registration (ROPE), while 2,336 citizens underwent police verification for private employment. IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, said that Khidmat Marakaz are a remarkable flagship project of public service delivery and are providing citizens with facilities round the clock (24/7). He added that millions of citizens across the province, including Lahore, are benefiting monthly from the services of Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz, while feedback from citizens is being incorporated to further upgrade the services.
