Promotions Process Continues in Punjab Police
Under the chairmanship of DIG Establishment-II Captain (R) Liaqat Ali Malik, a meeting of the Promotion Board for promotion from the post of Senior Clerk to Assistant was held at the Central Police Office.
Twenty-six Senior Clerks meeting the merit criteria have been promoted to the post of Assistant, Punjab Police spokesperson.
On the directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the process of promotions in Punjab Police is ongoing. In this regard, under the chairmanship of DIG Establishment-II Captain (R) Liaqat Ali Malik, a meeting of the Promotion Board for promotion from the post of Senior Clerk to Assistant was held at the Central Police Office. AIG Admin SSP Dr. Asad Ijaz Malhi, Registrar Humair Ahmed, and AD Admin Naveed Ahmed attended the meeting. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, twenty-six Senior Clerks who fulfilled the merit criteria have been promoted to the post of Assistant and the AIG Admin has issued the promotion notification. Those promoted from Senior Clerk to Assistant include: Shahzad Akhtar Bajwa, Syed Shahid Ali, Shakeel Ahmad, Muhammad Hafeez, Tahir Riaz, Muhammad Nawaz, Shahid Mahmood, Aamir Abbas, Muhammad Asif Khan, Sajjad Haider Shah, Ishtiaq Ahmad, Irfan Ahmad Chattha, Majeed Ahmad, Muhammad Israr ul Haq, Muhammad Shahzad Aslam, Nasrullah, Abdul Rasheed, Muhammad Akram, Niaz Hussain Shah, Javed Ahmad, Muhammad Naeem, Muhammad Ashiq, Muhammad Rizwan, Yasir Irfan, Abdul Ghaffar, and Azam Khan.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the promoted employees and said that in the past two and a half years, a record of nearly 30,000 officers and officials have been given promotions. The process of promotions based on performance, seniority, competence, and merit will continue. Dr. Usman Anwar said that departmental promotion is an important part of every officer’s career and reflects an increase in responsibilities.
