4,000 officers & personnel from the minority community are rendering excellent services in Punjab Police – Dr. Usman Anwar
On the occasion of National Minorities Day, Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, said that Punjab Police is providing excellent security to the minority community. We are providing security to all minority places of worship, including churches, temples, and gurdwaras. An officer from the Hindu community, Rajinder, is rendering excellent services as ASP Gulberg, Lahore. In Punjab Police, 4,000 officers and personnel from the minority community are rendering excellent services. Four hundred women police officers and personnel from the minority community are performing their duties. Punjab Police’s 48 Meesaq Centers are providing policing services to the minority community. IG Punjab said that Police Meesaq Centers are resolving the issues of the minority community and promoting interfaith harmony. Immediate redressal of problems faced by minority citizens is being ensured. The staff of Meesaq Centers, consisting of Christian officers, is resolving the issues of minorities on a priority basis.
