Punjab Police committed to the health welfare of its force and their families

 

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, remains committed to the best health welfare of police force and their families. In continuation of this commitment, IG Punjab has released an additional Rs. 2,750,000 for the medical treatment of police employees and their families. Sharing details, the Punjab Police spokesperson said that Sub-Inspector Hassan Raza has been granted Rs. 765,000 for medical treatment. The widows of late Sub-Inspector Abdul Qayyum and late ASI Muhammad Arif Khan, both cancer patients, and Constable Shahzaib have each been granted Rs. 250,000 for medical treatment. ASI Muhammad Razaq has been given Rs. 200,000 for cancer treatment. Sub-Inspector Ghazi Muhammad Farooq, ASI Raoof Yousaf, Head Constable Saif ur Rehman, PSA Faheem Abbas, Driver Constable Humayun Akhtar, and Constables Ijaz Haider, Shahzaib Asghar, and Anwar Hussain have each been granted Rs. 100,000 for medical expenses. Junior Clerk Usman Ahmad, Head Constable Asghar Farooqi, the father of martyred Constable Ali Raza, and sanitation worker Muhammad Fayyaz have collectively been granted Rs. 235,000 for medical treatment. IG Punjab approved the release of these funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IG Punjab said that, under MOUs signed with various institutions, the police employees are also being provided with the best possible medical facilities.
