IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar released Additional Funds of 24 Lakh 25 Thousand Rupees for Medical Treatment of Police Employees and Their Families. Punjab Police Spokesperson
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is committed to the health welfare of his force and their families. As part of this commitment, additional funds of 24 Lakh 25 Thousand Rupees have been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their families. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing the details, shared that 5 Lakh Rupees each were issued for the cancer treatment of ASI Shaukat Ali and the widow of the late Constable Driver Nazir Ahmad. Inspector Asad Ullah, Constable Muhammad Jameel (for their wives' cancer treatment), and Traffic Assistant Sajad Hussain (for his medical treatment) were each granted 2.5 Lakh Rupees. Constable Driver Saddam Hussain and the widow of the late Constable Driver Zulfiqar Ali were provided 2 Lakh Rupees each for their medical treatment. Constables Tahir Ali, Zulfiqar Ali, retired Constable Mahboob Alam, and Lady Constable Aqsa Irshad were collectively granted a total of 2 Lakh 75 Thousand Rupees for their medical treatment. IG Punjab approved the release of these funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IG Punjab said that modern medical facilities are also being provided to employees under Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with various institutions.
