IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Committed to the Health Welfare of His Force and Their Families,

Additional Funds of Rs. 2,295,000 Released for Treatment of Police Employees and Their Families, Punjab Police Spokesperson

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to the health welfare of the force and their families. In continuation of this commitment, additional funds amounting to Rs. 2,295,000 have been released for the treatment of police employees and their families. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, Constable Shair Ali was granted Rs. 500,000 for the cancer treatment of his wife. Retired Sub-Inspector Arif Gujar and the widow of late ASI Fatah Shair were each granted Rs. 250,000 for cancer treatment. Retired Inspector Muhammad Yaqoob, Sub-Inspectors Sajjad Younas, and Shabbir Hussain were each given Rs. 200,000 for medical treatment. ASI Muhammad Azam, Head Constable Mazhar Abbas, Constable Rizwan Saleem, Junior Patrolling Officer Yasir Rafiq, and Security Constable Umar Ramzan were each allocated Rs. 100,000 for treatment. Constable Afzal Zahid and Naib Qasid Muhammad were collectively granted Rs. 195,000 for medical treatment. IG Punjab approved the release of funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IG Punjab that through MOUs with various institutions, modern treatment facilities are also being provided to employees.
