Additional IG Riot Management Police (RMP) Khurram Shakoor visited the Police Training College, Chung, Lahore. DIG Riot Management Police Asad Sarfraz Khan also accompanied him. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, in line with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz’s Safe Punjab Vision, the RMP Specialized Training Course is underway at the Police Training College, Chung, Lahore, where 265 personnel are receiving training under the RMP Specialized Course. Additional IG RMP Khurram Shakoor encouraged the trainees, listened to their concerns, and issued instructions for their immediate resolution. He said that special equipment and gear have been provided to enhance the capabilities of the Riot Management Police. The six-week specialized course includes specially designed drills to maintain the fitness and performance standards of the force. DIG RMP Asad Sarfraz Khan said that keeping in view the modern-day law and order challenges, RMP personnel are being provided specialized training to ensure they remain prepared for all kinds of situations and deliver their best in the field when required.
