Punjab Police’s Major Success: Bilal Khosa, Wanted in Terrorism and Targeted Killings, Killed in Exchange of Fire.

Punjab Police Dera Ghazi Khan achieved a major success as the most wanted terrorist Bilal Khosa, involved in terrorism, targeted killings of police personnel, and heinous crimes, was killed during an exchange of fire. Punjab Police spokesperson, while sharing the details, said that during a routine night patrol in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kala, near Cement Factory Road, Mauza Chak Ladan, unknown armed individuals hiding in the bushes opened indiscriminate fire on a police mobile. Police, adopting a strategic response, returned fire from secured positions. During the exchange of fire, one attacker was killed, identified as Bilal alias Basheer. The other accomplices of the terrorist fled the scene, and a search operation is underway to locate them. The deceased culprit was wanted by police in several serious cases including attempted murder, robbery, street crime, terrorism, and double murder. He was also wanted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and was formally nominated in two cases. According to intelligence reports, Bilal Khosa was affiliated with the terrorist organization TTP (Fitna al-Khawarij). The slain terrorist was involved in organized activities against state institutions and intended to spread unrest in Dera Ghazi Khan. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has commended Dera Ghazi Khan Police for sending the Khawarij terrorist to hell.
