IG Punjab chaired high level performance review meeting of Crime Control Department.

Additional IG Sohail Zafar Chattha Briefed on CCD Progress.

A performance review meeting of the Crime Control Department (CCD) was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar. During the session, Additional IG Sohail Zafar Chattha briefed the participants on CCD's operations and achievements. IG Punjab expressed satisfaction with the department’s performance, particularly in tackling heinous crimes. He said the department is fulfilling the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz by curbing hardened criminals across the province. The CCD, through effective coordination with district police and strategic planning, is delivering promising results. Dr. Usman Anwar lauded the efforts of CCD in apprehending wanted criminals, dacoits, and kidnappers, and in recovering missing children. He emphasized the need for intensified actions against major drug dealers and motorcycle theft gangs. The meeting was attended by DIG CCD HRM Umar Farooq Salamat, DIG Internal Accountability CCD Waqas-ul-Hassan, CCD ROs and DOs, along with other senior officials.
