Punjab Police Woman Officer completed PhD Degree During Service.

A female officer of the Punjab Police, Dr. Hafiza Farah Asghar, who successfully earned a PhD degree during the course of her service, called on Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar at the Central Police Office, accompanied by her parents. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, Dr. Farah Asghar is currently serving as an Intelligence Officer at the Punjab Safe Cities Authority. She completed her PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated her on this exceptional academic achievement and expressed admiration for her dedication to both education and public service. He said that , “Officers like Dr. Farah Asghar, who demonstrate excellence in professional and academic domains, are a true asset and pride of the Punjab Police.”
He further noted that Punjab Police is proud to have a number of officers and personnel who hold advanced degrees such as PhDs, MPhils, and Engineering qualifications in various disciplines. He emphasized the department’s commitment to encouraging continuous learning and development among its members. Dr. Farah Asghar expressed her gratitude to her parents for their unwavering support, and acknowledged the encouragement she received from her senior officers and colleagues, which helped her achieve this milestone.
