Central Police Office: Ceremony Held in Honour of Officers and Personnel Demonstrating Exceptional Performance Against Khawarji Terrorists.

On the directions of Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar, a ceremony was held at the Central Police Office to honour officers and personnel who displayed outstanding performance in operations against Khawarji terrorists. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, officers and officials were rewarded with cash prizes and certificates of appreciation for eliminating Khawarji terrorists. IG Punjab awarded 42 officers and personnel from Dera Ghazi Khan with commendation certificates and cash rewards. The recipients included personnel deployed at Jhangi and Lakhani police check posts, Police Station Wohwa, Special Operations Unit (SOU), and Elite Force. Sharing further details, the spokesperson of Punjab Police said that the officers conducted a successful high-risk intelligence-based operation against Khawarji terrorists in the areas of Basti Lakhani, Daulat Wala, and Kot Mubarak. During the operation, four dangerous terrorists were neutralized, several were injured, and modern weapons and explosives were recovered. Among those awarded were four Sub-Inspectors, two Assistant Sub-Inspectors, twelve Head Constables, twenty-three Constables, and one Driver Constable.
IG Punjab said that after Operation Bunyad -e-Marsous, the challenges for Punjab Police regarding anti-state elements have significantly increased. Brave police officers deployed in inter-provincial border areas act as a solid barrier between Khawariji terrorists and the general public. He emphasized that with the support of the Pakistan Army, security agencies, and citizens, the nefarious designs of the enemy will be defeated. The ceremony was also attended by DIG Establishment-II Liaqat Ali Malik, DIG Welfare & Finance Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, AIG Admin Asad Ijaz Malhi, AIG Discipline Shaista Nadeem, and other senior officers.
