Police Training College Lahore:  IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar addressed the Under-training PERA Officers, CTD Corporals, Law Officers, and Sub-Inspectors.

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar addressed the under-training PERA (Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority) officers, CTD (Counter Terrorism Department) corporals, law officers, and sub-inspectors completing the integrated course at Police Training College Lahore. On this occasion, Commandant Police Training College Lahore DIG Mehboob Aslam Lillah, SP Syed Mehmood-ul-Hasan, training instructors, and other officers were also present.

IG Punjab said that after the Operation Bunyan Al Marsoos, our homeland is still in a state of war against the Fitna Al-Khawarij and the Fitna of Hindustan. Our enemy is sponsoring the Fitna Al Khawarij and Hindustan against national security. CTD corporals are being given special training to deal with the increasing challenges of terrorism. Punjab government is making significant investments in the forces for peace, stability, and socio-economic development. At Police Training College Lahore, modern training is being provided to various departments including PERA, CCD, Narcotics, and CTD.

IG Punjab said that our personnel are fighting terrorists, miscreants, and criminals by putting their lives on the line. He expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister Punjab, Chief Secretary, and cabinet members for their full support of the law enforcement agencies. The best personnel and provision of modern training have been ensured for Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority. PERA will prove to be an excellent force for eliminating encroachments, overpricing, profiteering, and hoarding.

The track record, professional performance, and reports of officers completing the integrated course will play an important role in their promotion. IG Punjab instructed the officers completing training to bring dacoits, thieves, robbers, and rapists to justice. Justice should be provided to the oppressed through free registration of crimes, Safe City, and technology-based policing and patrolling.

The spokesperson of Punjab Police shared that during his interaction with the under-training officers, IG Punjab reviewed the quality of training and available facilities. Commandant PTC Mehboob Aslam Lillah presented a commemorative shield to IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar.

Later, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met with the Class-IV employees of Police Training College Chung. IG Punjab appreciated the performance of the employees for their significant role in making PTC Chung the best training college in Pakistan. IG Punjab encouraged the Class-IV employees and had a meal with them. Dr. Usman Anwar distributed cash awards among the best performing Class-IV employees. Those receiving cash awards included gardeners, sanitary workers, washermen, water carriers, and other Class-IV employees.
