Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz (service centers) providing Digital Policing Services to Citizens

Over 1.974 Million Citizens Benefited from Policing Services This Year. Punjab Police Spokesperson

On the directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police's Khidmat Marakaz (service centers) are actively engaged in delivering digital policing services to citizens. Continuing this mission, over 1.974 million citizens have benefited from these services so far this year. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, more than 871,000 citizens availed general police verification, while over 490,000 obtained police character certificates. Additionally, over 221,000 individuals registered their tenancy, and 96,972 medical-legal certificates were issued. In line with initiatives aimed at supporting vulnerable segments of society, 78,928 individuals were provided legal and social protection. A total of 25,240 citizens used vehicle verification services, and 50,683 cases of document loss registration were recorded. Moreover, 2,775 crime reports were registered.

Over 105,000 citizens obtained copies of FIRs, and 32 reports related to women violence were filed. Furthermore, 29,754 citizens completed Employee Registration (ROPE), while 1,810 citizens underwent police verification for private employment. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Khidmat Marakaz (service centers) are a flagship public service delivery project where citizens are being facilitated 24/7. He added that millions of citizens across Lahore and the province are benefiting from these services monthly. Based on public feedback, services are being continuously upgraded and improved.
