IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's directions: Weekly General Parade Held Across the Province.
Senior Police Officers Reviewed the Parade; Contingents Presented Salute
As per the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, weekly general parades were held across the province. Senior police officers inspected the parade, and the contingents presented a ceremonial salute. Personnel from Police Lines, Dolphin Force, Anti-Riot Force, Traffic Police, Mujahid Squad, SPU, Ladies Police, Investigation, and Operations wings from various police stations participated in the general parade. Senior officers also checked the turnout of officers and personnel taking part in the event.
Smartly dressed parade contingents marched past in perfect coordination, including active participation from female personnel. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, these general parades are being held regularly every Monday throughout the province. District officers also conducted inspections of the armoury, motor transport wing, miscellaneous stores, uniform warehouses, and other relevant sections.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the purpose of the general parade is to keep personnel alert while fostering discipline, unity, and brotherhood among the force. He further remarked that a parade is the finest demonstration of discipline for any force and helps maintain the physical fitness of officers and personnel. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that such parades reflect the history, heritage, and traditions of the police force.
